While Thora and Nik’s relationship in Amour Amour was more passionate and full of sexual tension, Luka and Baylee’s relationship is just really pure. In comparison to Amour Amour, it is a very different kind of story even though it’s set in the same universe. This book was definitely beyond my expectation. It’s fun and endearing at the same time to see how the brothers struggle with her growing up. I love how there’s more Katya in the book. I felt bad at how Timo and Luka treated him at first but thank God they came around. We finally get to meet Sergei, Luka’s older brother who was traveling with other circus company before he finally went to Vegas. I initially thought that there might be animosity between the cousins because they weren’t as present in Amour Amour and how wrong I was. I’m so glad that we got to meet and learn more about the Kotovas. Many scenes that include the Kotovas in the story made me laugh. The side characters in this book are very entertaining. She’s such a strong character and I JUST LOVE HER SO MUCH. I wish he opened up more to them because his siblings care so much about him. The only thing I don’t like about Luka is how much he hides things from his siblings. I’m pretty sure he is the sweetest and least threatening Kotova (unless he’s being provoked). The two pretty much just survive through live for the past 5 years (unless when they are on stage). Luka and Baylee both have gone through so much. All I have to say is how majority of the time I just want to hug both characters and tell them that it will all be fine and worth it. I can’t really go into the issues because I will spoil the story if I do. I initially thought that the issue is going to be dragged out to make it such a big great mystery. I really like how the issue between the two main characters is being discussed right from the start. I will start by saying that I LOVE THE KOTOVAS! So it’s so nice to read about them again. Though you don’t have to read Amour Amour to read this one. Krista and Becca Ritchie has a new book out and of course it’s as fabulous as their other books.įirst, this book is in the same acrobatic world as their previous book Amour Amour.

Now I’ve signed back on to the same Vegas acrobatic show as Baylee, working together for the first time in years. He should have told me that when a darkness crawled towards us, there’d be no safety net. He should have told me to protect her from what was coming. My cousin should’ve told me that being best friends with Baylee Wright - since she was twelve - would be the best and worst decision of my life. Because he followed with, “friends don’t f*ck friends. “Don’t have a best friend that’s a girl” - this was the advice from my older cousin.
